Bike Ride

Location: Bendigo to Axedale

Grading: Easy

Distance: 46kms

Description

We are planning an out and back ride along the O'Keefe Rail trail from Bendigo to Axedale.  Planning to stop for lunch at the Axedale pub where there is likely to be outdoor dining set up.  Last time we were there in the middle of 2020,  they did take away and that worked all okay to eat by the Campaspe River which runs through the town.  The rail trail continues to Heathcote but we will not be going that far.

Hybrid or mountain bikes needed.  Not road bikes.  Path is compressed gravel.  The grade of the trail is fairly flate and we will go slow enough to accomodate all who want to ride.
