Regular Activities

Morning Walks

We offer an easy to medium morning walk at least once a month on a Wednesday and regularly on the weekend. Just some of our popular locations On the Mornington Peninsula include Seawinds, Merricks to Red Hill Trail, a section of Flinders to Somers beach and Coolart Wetlands.

Day Walks

Most Saturdays and Sundays there will be a day walk on our calendar. This could be local to the Mornington Peninsula or further afield to areas such as Toolangi State Forest, Dandenong Ranges, Lysterfield Park or Warramate Hills. The grading of these walks can vary from easy to hard.

Base Camps & Back Packs

At least once a month our keen base campers and back packers hit the trails in more remote areas to expore popular spots like Ritchie's Hut, Cathedral Ranges, Wilson's Prom and Daylesford for 2 or more days of medium to hard walking.

Bike Rides

We hold regular bike rides for novice to more experienced riders. Recent locations include Bendigo, Castlemaine, Bass Coast and the rail trails throughout Melbourne.

Multi Day - Extended Adventures

Mount Everest Base Camp

What an adventure of a life time! 10 very well prepared members took to the daunting, but ultimately rewarding, trails of Nepal in February 2020.

Jatbula

An annual enticement to go north during winter means this is a regular on our calendar. The 62km, multi-day trek through the diverse and ancient ecosystem of Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) never fails to deliver!

Deal Island

It's not often that a 10hr catamaran cruise across Bass Strait is the forerunner to a 3-4 day base camp! What an amazing experience to explore the small islands half way to Tassie.
