Walking as a Visitor

You are welcome to walk with us without committing to become a full member.  If you find a walk that is of particular interested to you, come to our next club meeting (see Club Meeting) for more information on the walk.

At the meeting, you will be greeted by one of our friendly members who will give you a run down on our meeting.  During the meeting, you will hear about the walks in the coming months, such as distance, terrain, walk grading, meeting time and meeting place.  At the conclusion of meeting you will be then given an opportunity to sign up for any walks you wish to participate in.  We also conducts a brief induction for all visitors on the operation of our walks and all necessary safety requirements for bushwalking.

At the start of our walks, you will be asked to sign off for acknowledging the risks and obligations of your participation.  You will also be asked to pay a fee (currently $3.00) to become a temporary member of our club for the duration of the walk for insurance purposes.

For more information, please read our booklet “Walk Right In” for visitors.
